Sarah Palin unwittingly took a prank call Saturday from a Canadian comedian posing as French President Nicolas Sarkozy and telling her she would make a good president someday.

Palin campaign spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt confirmed she had received the prank call.

I'm pretty sure she was just trying not to make it awkward... She probably thought it safe to just say 'that's great' just in case she misheard him or something. It's hard to understand people over the phone sometimes, especially with an accent like that. And saying something completely unexpected like that.
