Alright, we just set up the computer, but we are having a problem with the SATA not being recognized.

For some reason, it won't detect the SATA, and we have made a startup driver disk.

Anyone know what could be causing this? We tried using new cables, checking the connections, etc. and it's still not working.

It won't see the SATA drive unless the Windows install gets the correct drivers off of a floppy disk, usually by pressing F6 from the begining and later specifying the driver.
Some have it on the CD or you could download it online from the manufacture's website support pages.
Make sure you have that SATA channel enabled in bios and the Jumper on the board is set to Enable.

During the startup, does it ask something about an array or about creating an array? I had the same problem and when I created one it worked. Hope that helps.
