Has anyone heard of this guy? He is like Mos Def, except better. I like him A LOT. He is honestly a great rapper. You need to listen to, in order, Black Stacey, List of Demands, and last but not least Penny For A Thought. Those are 3 of his best songs. Please listen to this man.

:) Yeah, he's cool. He has that more poetic delivery in his songs rather than 'rapping' which is cool.

He was on tour with The Mars Volta when I saw him in St. Louis. It was great.

I like that man a lot. He is honestly the best sort of freestyle rapper I have ever heard in my life.

The Mars Volta is pretty good. I really don't like the singer though.

He came to our school just yesterday because he was a good childhood friend of my us history teacher...this guy is really really good...he sung some of his song 'black stacey' for us on stage and preformed some of his poems it was great.

guess what?
he is opening for NiN during some parts of this current tour.
i've never listened to any of his music and never seen a rap/hip hop act live so yeah i will be seeing him on March 6th at the London, Ontario show.
this will definitely be something different for me. :D

Yeah, I read that too. I have "Moving Units" who, after downloading a few songs of theirs, aren't so bad.

i heard good thing about Moving Units and so naturally, for NiN, i wanted a rock band opening up...but i have heard good things about Saul as well.
granted i don't listen to rap/hip hop much but i have listened to the odd good tune.

Well since saul came to our school (which was his school he graduated from as well), his words are very powerful and meaningful. And some rhymes he does makes you have to go pick up a dictionary and look up some of the words he says. And he chills with NIN a lot which is like one of my favorite bands..so he's definitly cool

yup.
Trent has hinted at some point him and Saul collaborating on a track or two as well...we'll see tho because theres also rumours from Rolling Stone mag that Trent might do a piano tour.

anyway a collaboration would be neat.
