Saving a family and opening it on a new computer - The Sims 2

I've been playing the Sims 2 on my old computer, but now I'm the lucky owner of a 2800+ blablabla computer. Now I've just installed The Sims 2 on this new mofo, and I saved my family on my old computer and then I burned it onto a CD and opened it on my new computer. It says: "it's now been installed etc" but when I open the Sims 2 my Vetterli family is nowhere to be found!?

Can anyone help me...?

No way! It was a smooth family! Me, my wife Nina, and my son Bartholemew who did a ****ing great job in school! He was coming on to this really hot chick aswell...

Haha, haven't played it yet, unless its free, I woulden't really play it.

From your old computer, package your lot (with your sims in it) to the net, or to your comp and burn it (onto the net is much easyer) then on your new computer, download it, install, then go to the place you had them (i.g Strangetown or whatever) and they will be in the lot bin. Or the family bin, one of the 2.
