Saving Level Information - New HD

My son and I are ready to build a new computer (Christmas gift for him) - he has been using an outdated Dell for some time and is ready for a gaming machine (P800C, gig RAM, BFG 6800GT, etc, etc) - anyway - does anyone know of a way for him to save his HL2 level information (He's past the dune buggy part and hates to have to restart from scratch) so we can transfer it to the new computer once HL2 is reinstalled? The new computer will have a new HD and a fresh version of WXP. TIA!!

yep, save everything in this folder and copy it over...
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE
