No, that's not the actual title, but it should be.

Hollywood sure does know how to take a cult classic and crap all over it.

Hollywood feeds us these crappy sequils, and f*cktards continually bite into them. WHY?!

THESE SEQUILS SUCK!


(Yeah, I posted a less vulgar thread like this on IMDB, and people came to it's defense, it was deleted immediately... it's like Hollywood sends in spies to cover up the truth on IMDB.)

totally ignoring plot, actors, and lines spoken the previous saw movies have had so many glaring problems I don't know if I can do a fourth.
 
How is this a surprise. They announced to everyone that there will be 6 movies while making saw 2. This isn't news. Every halloween for 6 years straight there will be a saw movie. They said they wanted it to be the Halloween and Jason/Freddy of our age.

Im going to see it 1 was revolutionary, 2 was good, 3 was insane. And 4 already has a nc17 which they have to tone down.
 
Am I the only one not entertained by gore? It's not that it bothers me, it's just that "OH GOD LOOK AT HOW GRUESOME THIS IS" is yawnworthy.
 
I enjoyed the 1st one a lot, that's it.

The rest suck, I hate this bull shit about "we want it to be the freddy and jason of your generation"

Oh, okay, SO BASICALLY, what they are saying is "We wanna make a bunch of crappy sequils to a good movie, that all you stupid people will pay good money for and never ever watch again"


They might as well tell the next generation that they want a TV show to be "The That 80's Show of your generation"

-guess what, no one wants that, because That 80's Show sucked, so why the **** would I want something that would suck just like it did the last generation?
 
I stopped half-way through Saw 2, it was just too much to bear. I don't understand why people enjoy a rehash of a shit plot/acting.
 
Agreed there, zombie. It started sucking after the first.

Agreed. It's the same kind of thing with zombie movies. I think 99.9% of them are shit, yet people will love them just because there's zombies in it.
 
Zombie gore is the exception IMO.

Anyway, the first one was good, the second was shit, and I didn't bother with the third.
 
The Saw series was shite from the get-go.

The first was the best, but that's not saying much considering the competition of Saw 2 and Saw 3. It really was just a big mess that ripped from other films and horror icons without any of their shock or thought. And the ending rendered the entire film senseless and cheap.

Agree.

The first was decent for what it was: a low budget breakthrough film.

Since then they've tried to come up with more and more "interesting" characters with more and more interesting traps and more and more twists.

I hated the second and third both, but they each had a few ideas that I liked. They really could have been good, and that's what the real shame is. 4 looks like it's just going for gore, and with Jigsaw/Amanda dead, I really don't think it can even be interesting anymore. Even 3 had too much mindless gore with the "Oh let's give Jigsaw brain surgery".
 
I might watch it to get a girl to squeeze up on me...and for me to cringe now and then.

i.e. I'll see it because all 3 so far have been enjoyably above average IMO.

anywho - First one was good, it was original, the 2nd and 3rd are shit because they just want gore, and don't care about story.
 
the one where she had to wear the shotgun collar was stupid.

Less than 5 seconds after seeing the contraption I had already formulated a plan of escape for her....steal the bed sheet from the guy, then wedge it in between the hammer and the shell. Viola! Now they can't be fired and you can walk home to use your sawzall for easy removal.

or the house one? Seriously you have like 7 people with weapons...even though the doors and windows are sealed shut you know he can't weld a sarcophagus around the whole house, all they had to do was break a wall down and run away.
