Was walking across my college campus today and caught a glimpse of someone wearing a Half-Life 2 t-shirt. Does Valve have a store, or Sierra, where you can buy one of these? I want one...looks real cool. Orange logo with Half-Life 2 written below it on black background.

You should have screamed in his face, HALF LIFE 2 HAS BEEN DELAYED NOOB! STOP BEING IN DENIAL! OWNED!

What does that have anything to do with someone wearing a Half-Life 2 tee-shirt?

I was contemplating this...but realized it would have been in vain...for I didn't really give a shit myself

And in response, the guy in the HL2 shirt runs away screaming, "NOOOOOOOOO, LIES, IT'S A CONSPIRACY, THE G-MAN IS WATCHING!"

hmm... Its a sure way to avoid the chickies, thats for sure

You should have torn it off of his back and ran away laughing insanely ;) lol. Oh ya, and then later, resell it on EBay for many hundreds of dollars ;) hehehe

Maybe his dad works for Valve. You should have gone up and talked to him. Squeezed out some juicy info.

Yeah as much as I'm a raving Half-Life fanboy I don't know that I'd wear a t-shirt promoting them or their games...or any other games for that matter. A fashion statement like that doesn't exactly attract the opposite sex.

Chicks dig guys in Half Life shirts. They are all like "OOoh I bet he has a big crowbar" and you would be all like "Oh yeah, baby, that bulge down there ain't no headcrab."

That's actually a likelihood now that I think about it. It is Bellevue Community College...and Bellevue is where Valve is

I have that shirt. It's from E3. If you stood in line to see the video, you got a shirt.

I've actually worn a Starcraft shirt in public... Once. It was the most glorious day ever, as I was spending it with my girlfriend and her friends. I intentionally wore the shirt so her friends would think I was some sort of insane wacko (and I think it worked). I even started up a conversation with some random guy about Starcraft (because of my shirt) and we used a lot of interesting lingo that no one really understood. It was great.

Ah yes, the joys of weirding people out.

Who the funk wears a Half-Life 2 shirt? Besides, I have searched the net and an on eBay for Valve/Half-Life merchandise, there ain't nothing. He either knows someone involved with Valve or got a shirt at some promotion type of event.

you DO know that the hl symbol is also the symbol for a gay rights groop?

oh shit, maybe that was what the shirt was?

should have private messaged that, lol
their lines are going to be swamped by the people with balls (not me)

Of course, it'll be a few days before you get a response from Julie, Gabe told me to wait a few days since she's on vacation for a few more days (or something like that).

They should really sell HL2 t-shirts mainstream. It would be "marketing strategy all up in yo hizzay, BIATCH!" and we'd all buy them, even if we didn't ever wear them.

Didn't she go to Tokyo with the rest of the Valve crew?

I don't know. I just emailed last weekend as to whether I could get a tour, and he forwarded me to her email and said she was out for the first part of the week.

You'd think a company like Valve would have a temp or something. If there's no one to answer calls at Valve their answering machine must be backed up to hell!

its valve. they cant even figure out how to send email to more than 1 person at a time.

I've got a gunman chronicals t-shirt. People have no idea what it is, so it's ok to wear out in public :D

Did Gearbox develop that?

pff, the best t-shirts are those ones you get free with lap-dances. they are hella fun to wear in classes.

Maybe it's a self printed T-shirt? Or maybe it's just a ironed-on hl2 logo on the tshirt. bleah :cheese:

By self printed do you mean the fabric worked its way to a print shop and paid to have it printed upon? Sometimes I have this problem with my laundry. Sometimes catch my undies at Kinko's trying to print 'I brake for poo' on the back.
