Scan Disk

Does anyone know if there are any 3rd party programs that can replace scandisk? Disckeeper (what I use for defraging) is telling me that I need to run scan disk before it can defrag my C drive (N defraged fine ).

I can run the generic scandisk, as i have files and shit that have more than 255 characters in it's name.

I personally find ScanDisk and Windows Defragmenter fine, but then again I've never had files with names longer than 255 characters.
