Okay so the ghost thread inspired me to make this post. I want to hear some real stories from everyone about creepy things that have happened to them before.

My brothers cat would go down in their basement and stare at the wall for hours without moving, like it was looking at someone.

Used to go to my dad's friends house as a child, with me and my brother and him. She lived alone, but the house was originally owned by her grandmother I think. Anyways, she was convinced it was haunted, and that she could often hear soft gentle creaking upstairs.

We never heard anything like that, but one night that we stayed there, I went to sleep and my brother was asleep too. We were both young, like 5 and 8. I had a teddy ruxpin doll, and after we woke up, one of the plastic mechanical eyes was crushed into its head. Made me sad. Didn't understand it, my brother wasn't capable of doing that, he was young and wasn't violent.

That was just one incident i've had as a child. She thinks there might be more that was haunting the house because it's next to a very old bandoned railroad track.

Something Awful forums did a thread on ghost stories, and someone made a .doc file of it, I have it here and its 900KB I need some place to upload though, it's like 226 pages long.

My dog does that towards random things. One of my dogs lick the brick walls while the other barks at the air and licks my door

We are a skeptical bunch

But in all seriousness, animals can detect and see things that we can not. It is rumoured that cats can see the dead spirits and in fact animals can detect earthquakes and storms before we can because they feel the shock waves or something like that...

I read it in a book a long long long time

hmm scary things that have happened to me. Well this isnt exactly a haunted house in the middle of the night thing but recently I read a book by Clement Davis called the sight, it was about a pack of wolves that had to fight evil (I only got up to when all but one of the wolves die. One by one)

Anyway, the book had 2 gods in them that I thought would be cool to worship. So one day I made a prayer; for something to happen that dosen't happen alot. 2 things happened that don't happen alot. I was surprised and lately whenever something that I need to do is accidnetly forgotten (Like homework for instance) them 2 gods save me. So now I am a full fledged Vargen

Alot of my prayers have been answered lately

The other night there was a storm over Preston, UK. We did managed to catch a glimpse of fork lightning, but only twice in half-an-hour. The third time a charm, over yonder, I believe I saw my first ever ball lightning (it lasted about 1 second).

But came the freaky part, there was no accompanying thunder, I thought that it might of been a firework that went off at least 3 miles away, but a split second later our phones went haywire, I thought it might of been some sort of EMP burst that disrupted our phone lines. Anyway, I managed to find a way to stop the god aweful sound that all the phones around the house were making. But I was thinking to my self, if that was the power of lightning, we are glad we went wireless, I would hate to think what would of happened if somebody was talking on a corded phone at that exact time.

My computer can detect storms, my PSU (only lets me on for about 1 minute before turning off on its own) cacks out 30 minutes before the storm hits. Its fine once the storm passes

Once i had a bad experience i posted on this forum and I didn't get any replys there is something sinsiter going on here maybe a government conspiracy of somekind to keep me out of the loop although it could just be someone is stealing posts like a ghost or daemon........ I wonder could those UFO's be back that i saw last week nah they come all the time and steal my biscuits although that could just be my brother we will never know.

My house is build on an ancient indian burial ground, I drink tea with chief Soaring Eagle.

We were all pretty sure there was something living in the bush around the little desert town where I used to live. Sometimes you'd get the feeling that you were being watched, and you'd turn around, and you'd hear this crashing noise in the bush, and sometimes see a dark shape moving quickly away. We used to go walking in pairs, which is what you should do in the bush anyway.

There was also something weird in a bit of bush around the cul-de-sac where a friend of mine used to live. His parents, who'd never seen it, thought that it was a dog, but my friend was sure it was a thylacine.

My old house was haunted, I'm pretty sure of that. I got a paper plane that I never made thrown at me when I was home alone...

That thing would have your leg off

I havent got any scary stories but the other day my guitar fell over for no reason at all... it'd be sitting there all day, quite happy propped up against the fireplace and Boooom! down it goes.... scary huh?

I once took some acid and went and played cards in the desert with Jack Nicholson and a Indian Chief.

What's the official story on that anyway? Is it still called extinct?

Worshipping demons and channeling energy seems so tempting and interesting, until you decide to try it out one day. :|

I don't really want to speak about it unless there's someone here who needs to be discouraged from trying it..
