I have this weird error in scientists slaughterhouse where the keyboard section in "options" doesn't show any keys, and I can't do anything with the keyboard in a game. The weird thing is It's up to date, and I have the steam update installed. Also, I have all the same files because I have reinstalled it several times trying to fix this, to no avail, however. I have all the tfc wad files, and hl wad files in the ssh folder, and used the sites tech support, but I still cant figure this out. Here's what the options menu looks like, under "Keyboard"

Also, in all my hl1 games, when I'm playing I get millions of pop ups, and it's driving me nuts. Rouguescanfix didn't help, nor did 5 different virus scans. Should I just delete my hl folder, and restart everything? O_o

I ran Spybot S&D, McAfee virus scan, CA virus scan, Spydoctor, and AVG virus scan. No adware found.

Dude, I have the same exact problem!!!!! And sometimes, I can't even move at all when I play in-game also.

You should still be able to change the keys manually by going to "<Steam folder>/Steamapps/<USERNAME>/half-life/<scientist slaughet folder, probably "ss" or "scsl" or some other abbreviation>/ and changing the 'config.cfg' you find in there.

No idea about the spyware though, although a friend of mine had the same with HL2 and HL2DM. It went away when he completely formatted the computer.
