SCP Containment Breach is a free survival horror game revolving around the exploits of the SCP Foundation.
It's a secret organisation that deals with the investigation and containment of various anomalous phenomena. Think something similar to Fringe Division only much more ruthless.

While I didn't find the game itself to be that interesting from the videos I've seen, the game wiki has a very generous list (999 entries) of all the anomalies encountered by the SCP Foundation. Each entry has a short story describing how it was found, a description of it's properties, and containment procedures.
The anomalies range from people with strange abilities, and monstrosities from other dimensions/universes to malevolent inanimate objects.
There are a lot of crazy ideas in there making for an entertaining read, hence why I felt I should share.

Robbaz, a guy I subscribe to on youtube played it a few days ago.. Looks kinda shitty in my opinion

If anyone is interested.

I saw the very first /v/ thread the (Finnish!) developer made about this and suggested a way to add SCP-965 into the game. He really liked it but I don't think it's in the game yet.

The backstory is why I posted this, not the game itself which is indeed kind of shitty.
Oh my mistake, sorry man lol thought you meant the game! Probably should read the whole post before commenting :|

The wiki isn't based on the game, the game is based on the wiki. It's been around for ages, that's why there's 999 entries. Only a few of those are actually in the game.

I haven't played it myself but I haven't heard any negative feedback. Of course it looks pretty bad and all but I heard it's pretty ****ing scary.

OK now I get it. So it's basically a site where people come up with all these crazy ideas and if they fit with the overall theme of the SCP Foundation they get included into the list. Kind of like a crowdsourced sci-fi story.
There's more than enough material in there to make a great tv show out of this stuff.

And you might remember the SCP-087 games. That first one where you walk down the stairs hearing eerie noises until a creepy face jumpscares you and the game ends, for example.

There was one like SCP before SCP existed. Warehouse 13. Good show. And the problem with the SCP site is a lot of them are Mary Sue fanfic bullshit, though some got purged I think when they began extending past the 1000 mark.

Also this is by far my most favorite SCP fan game.

Warehouse 13.

Yeah, I know. I've watched a few episodes when it first aired, and am tring to watch the whole thing now. It's Ok I guess, but my problem with it is that it's silly/corny just like Eureka. The only tv show that I can think of that is close to what I imagine a SCP show should be like is "Psi Factor". However only the first 2 seasons of that show were good, then it turned into a pile of bull shit.
