screamers and screamers the haunting

the first movie is awesome. for a 1995 sci-fi horror is really well made, entertaining and predictable cliches are at a reasonable level.
i highly recommend this, watch it.



the second part...well, it has 3 decent moments, but the rest is just plain shit. characters/acting are just, oh god, probably the worst part. you know from a special squad sent on an off limit planet where the population was slaughtered, i'd presume members could handle seeing someone dead and it was not even a panic situation, it's just like...omg i shoot at people but seeing a dead stranger is just worth crying over and getting killed. **** that pisses me off, why do filmmakers always send special squads to extremely dangerous situations, who have combat experience like some HALO playing nerd. hell, even the nerd would outperform them by light years.

i'm really wondering if the director watched it before releasing it to the public. i mean how can anyone consciously make such atrocious plot decisions.
like i've said...there were 3 moments that were really cool the rest is poop.

anyway...if you haven't watched the first movie shame on you. the second...ehh, if you're really bored.

oh that part! i knew it was his daughter since the first time she doubted it was a suicide rather than something else, which is pretty much the beginning.
