Screen of Death in other games

Not a Half-life 2 question (runs excellent, great quality, everything on high) but when I try to install either Battlefield 1942 or Call of Duty somewhat thru installing it comes up with the blue screen of death. wtf

This belongs in the Hardware forum... regardless, can you tell us what this specific BSOD says? Each BSOD is usually different, and if you can possibly capture a picture with your digital camera, then we may be able to help out more than we can at this point. On a side note, what are your current computer specifications?
