While setting up hl2 video options, I accidentally applied 1280x1024 resolution. My monitor can not handle this for some reason and now when I load hl2 I get a blue screen. I need to switch it to like 1280x720 or 800x600, however, like I said I have nothing but a blue screen. Can I change this in the registry? I found the proper keys, but they are in hexidecimal, currently they are set at: Screen height 0x00000400 (1024), and Screen width 0x00000500 (1280). It seems I had a momentary lapse of reason, because I knew not to do this and I can't recall how I rectified the problem last time. Or is there an easier way to do this? Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.
