Screen Shot problems

I take screen shots while playing DM using the f5 or f6 key (I cant remember which key of the top of my head), I go into my valve folder etc and find the screenshot folder open it, the screen shot is there, but has like vertical blinds of colour on it? basically not recognisable

I used to be able to take shots no worries, now I cant!!!!!!?????? any ideas why this has happened? same for Hl2 as well.

Do you have a GeForce card? If you do you might want to roll back your drivers, although i don't think it's the problem here.

Did this only happen once you took the screenshot in DM?

Na I have a ati 9800 pro... with latest driver etc...

I dunno all of a sudden it just happened

Go into options>Keyboard and see what is bound to screenshot.

F5 is the key assigned to screenshot same as b4...........

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers? I just changed away from a Radeon 9800 Pro card and I had no such problemes (I ran the Catalyst 5.6 drivers).

I installed the latest drivers from ati and I can now take screenshots again...so it works whoooo

Nice that it works again then

try to use (ctrl+alt+print screen)
then go to paint and paste it !!!
then you can save the picture at any way!!!
