Screwed up resolution

I just installed the new nvidia drivers, and everything has gone to hell. My res is borked, and it won't let me do anything past 1280x800, despite my having a 19' lcd monitor. I am kind of pissed off right now, so any tips as to how to fix this jazz would be appreciated.

Things I have done:
Uninstall, Driver cleaner, Reinstall.
Go back to a previous driver.

Help, help , help.

So rolling back to previous driver isn't helping?
I've heard lots of nightmares about version 91.47, so roll back to 84.21 if you can. Also try system restore and see what happens. Post back here, I'll be around for next half an hour.

I rolled back to 84.21, and things are looking clean. Res is back to 1280x1024, and refresh rate is 72. I just hope that the next forceware update doesn't screw me so royally.

Last (91.47) forceware screwed lots of people and it is majorly based on the SLI/NF4 MB. I guess this is another way of saying Good Bye to AGP/NF3 MB huh?

Wow! Maybe it's time to upgrade huh? LCDs are way cheaper now, so save up and shop around.

are you serious??? how is that possible ive never heard of a 19' crt only going to 1024x768.wouldnt that seam stretched? my 17' crt goes to 1280x1024
