script error or am i stuck?

somewhere right after the entrance to black mesa east, after you get scanned, she finishes talking at the elevator..but i get on the elevator and nothing happens (she doesnt join me, the button INSIDE the elevator doesnt appear to work at all either)

anyone have a save right after the elevator reaches the bottom? (or a fix, or a solution)

Apparently, AI problems (i.e. scripted sequences breaking, and ai not doing anything) are symtoms in the cracked versions.

So go buy a legit copy

Good for them. Cracked versions shouldn't work. Go buy the game, or games will cease to get better. People that make the games need to get paid or why woulld they make em, transport 'em, disrtibute em, sell them, etc.
