I'm trying to get a scripted sequence to work.

Here's what I want to happen:
When the game starts, an NPC comes over, opens the door to my office and talks to me. When he's done talking, I want him to turn around and go down the hall into another office.

Here's what happens:
Nothing. The NPC just sits where he spawned. (He also calls me Dr. Freeman which I will have to fix somehow as I am supposed to be Lt. Rayne.)

I can't figure out how to make the info_player_start trigger a script, so I put a once-fire trigger box around where I started (which doesn't work either). It's kind of hard to tell you clearly wha I've done, so if you have to ask questions to help, I'll gladly answer them.

Thanks for the tutorial, but I've read it a few times over, and it says I have to have another scripted sequence for every action. What if I want my chaacter to do about 8 things while standing in one spot (open door, salute, talk, while talking point up, then point right, stop talking, salute, turn left, then start walking forward)?

Unfortunately it does then take about 8 scripted sequences. Once you get used to doing them, they go faster though. I use them quite abit.

As for the "Dr. Freeman" thing, the only way to change that is have him use a line that doesn't state Gordon's name and/or create your own sound file.

I could be wrong but I think you want to make a vcd in Face Poser if you want that many actions. Or you could do a bunch of sequences one on top of the other.
