is it possible and how can i make it to set a patrol rout of some kind of combine. or to make combine run to a destination point i would make. can i do this in hammer? thanks in advance
 
yea..i think theyre entities called nodes?...theres a tutorial on hl2w0rld.com (change the zero to an o) but its not very good, google it
 
To give the Combine soldier information about how to move around the map, place info_node entities a little above the ground in walkable areas. Check out the single-player example maps in SteamApps/<account>/sourcesdk_content/hl2/mapsrc.

To make the soldier run to one specific location, you can use a scripted_sequence entity, or a rally point entity (I think it's ai_rally_point), or probably something else too. The former hasn't changed much since HL1 and is described here. I don't know how to make the rally point work. Haven't played with it enough.
 
I will always beat the hell out of a post that outsources to HL2World. :D
