SDK and making maps

Since the full SDK is not out, does that affect making maps for Counter-Strike?

Also, I was looking at that help site they give you with the SDK and came to the conclusion that it sucks....anyone know of another site with step by step instructions on like making your first room or something?

You can make maps for CS:S fine, but not HL2. Although there is a way you can access the HL2 content.

I learned by playing around with the editor but

is a great site with tutorials and also there is a video that walks you through creating a room, entities and light but i forget the site it is hosted on ill try to find it
