SDK programs won't boot

I can boot the SDK menu but then if I try to use hammer / model viewer / face poser i get a fatal error and they won't boot. It says "Extra App ID set to 211, but no SteamAppID"

I used to have it working a while ago but uninstalled it since then. Now it won't work and I can't find anything that can help with this (if it's something obvious in the thing you see when you install I can't see it just like I can't see any news :/)

No, this is in the right section alright.

One of my mapper friends has this.

You can try out the beta sdk (look in the news announcements a few pages back), maybe it works then.

If not, try validating :
steam://validate/211

If that still doesn't work, you'll probably have no other option than to reinstall D:

Tried validating and reinstalling will try the beta SDK.

And how does he map if it doesn't work?
