search function changed?

I usually search for threads I've posted in to see if someone has responded. Well today I've noticed that my search results are not updated.
Is it just me? ...Or has the search function been changed to ease server load or some other [baloney] noble cause.

Yeah, definely behaves different to me. Ctrl F5 just refreshes the page. What my issue is... well.

Okay, I log on hl2.net, and search for myself (under Advanced search > Search by User Name). I don't like subscribing, so this is the best way to tell if theres been activity on a thread I've commented in. I read a bunch, maybe reply, then check some new threads. Let's say I reply to one of them. Then I search for my name again. It will bring up a search, but will be the same search. Same ID. If a thread has been replied to, it will have updated time, but will be out of chronological order. Any threads I posted to since the original search will not show. If I wait long enough (something around 30 minutes, maybe?), then it will do a fresh new search.

So, MAYBE it's my browser (Firefox, BTW). But I haven't changed any settings, I've tried it on two computers, and this behavior is new...

Anyway. A mild annoyance, and somewhat odd change of forum behavior. :|
