Section 8

I can't find anything about this game which says to me "oo, that'd be quite fun to play". It doesn't even look that great, and commits the cardinal sin of apparently "tacking on" a single-player mode just for the sake of it.

Anybody brought it? Opinions?

i tried the demo on xbl and couldn't get a single match to start, plus i waited 5 mins and stay far away from this game like said. looks bad

I haven't played it, and I've heard mostly negative things. They released a CG trailer a few months ago, which is usually a sign that the game is shit.

I tried playing. I won it in the contest.

First, it would close after saying GFWL wouldn't start.

Now it just crashes after the splash screen.

The switch from Gamespy to GFWL has caused so many bugs to crop up. Not to mention dedicated server files are nowhere to be found and if you do somehow manage to get a server working it'll break down sooner or later. VOIP doesn't work, constant disconnects, general screwyness, etc.

Do not buy this game.

Why didn't they stick with Gamespy? Does GFWL even support dedicated servers?
Seriously, who in their right mind uses that shitty service? Nobody even bothers to play any of the games that do use it. Look at GTA 4. No mod support and no cheat prevention whatsoever.
Anyway, thanks for the warning. I was thinking of purchasing this but i am not going to now.
