I just came back for the movie theater and I wanted to recommend you this movie guys, is very powerful and portrays part of the reality of my country, Miramax bought the movie rights (They liked what they saw) and it should be premiering in the states today, the only drawback (for no Venezuelans) is that the movie will be subtitled for English speaking audiences and you will be missing the way the kidnappers talk ( is a funny/thug-like/untranslatable way), anyway it’s a good story, the movie has gotten nice reviews, so go watch it and you will be supporting a good Venezuelan movie.

Oh C’mon guys! Stop watching Dukes of Hazzard or Deuce Bigalo European Gigolo crap, stop giving money to those crappy Hollywood movies (not all of them are, but the majority), they are ripping you off. Go and watch this movie and then report back here and discuss, I said discuss! :E

P.D: Americans are always stereotyped as people that don’t give a damn for foreign films, they always watch the same Hollywood crap over and over no matter how many times have been redone, but I think this is not the case for people who really like movies and are not just mainstream audiences. Anyway I won’t insist, it’s up to you whether go for Dukes of Hazzard crap or a small and shocking foreign film that will leave you thinking afterward…
