Seemingly corrupt savegames

Just today I noticed all of my recent saves (starting today) don't work. Both manual saves and auto saves. I attempt to load them, the load bar comes up for a second, and then it kicks me to the menu. Anyone else experiencing this? Also, is there anything I can delete regarding save files that Steam will automatically reinstall to maybe give my save directory a refresh? Thanks
