Separate Sections for Major Games

Ok, something that we may be considering at some point would be separate sections within the General Gaming forum for other major titles, such as Doom III, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Far Cry etc.

Now, there's a bit of conflict within the staff as to whether or not this would be a good idea, and I'd like your input.

So...vote away! Also, your reasons for and against would be nice please.

I would say no since I don't think they would be used. Any threads made about other games could easily be put into general gaming without causing any sort of crouding.

I like having off-topic and general gaming forums. Nice change of pace to be able to talk about other games and still be in the same website. But, we don't need anymore off-topic forums .

If anything, a forum dedicated to Half-Life (The first one) would be awesome. It seems kinda of weird to have a forum dedicated to HL2 but we don't have a thread about HL. I think it will help attract more traffic here if we have a general purpose HL thread. Stuff could be posted about mods, their announcements and all other discussion related to Half-Life.

There are already enough forums..... nothing i hate worse than a forum with 500 sections..... you can never find what your looking for....and noobs always end up posting in the wrong place through no fualt of there own.
