Medal of Honor Pacific Assualt

Star wars Battlefront

Stalker (maybe)

Rome: Total War

ShellShock: Nam '67

Fable

Call of Duty: United Offensive

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War

Brothers in Arms

what do they all have in common? September release date.

Will you be purchasing any of these games or will you strictly play Hl2 in september?

Stalker is the about the only one I'd get. If it does come out then.

I'll wait for reviews on Star wars Battlefront, Rome TW, and the rest of them ...but I'll definately get MoH PA and Stalker

Hmm, I might think about Rome TW too. Didn't see that the first time.

Sigh, too many games, not enough money.....or time.

I'm only interested in HL2 and Doom 3 in terms of PC games.

Me too but I'm still gonna get WH40K, I was a warhammer freak when I was 15-16, I bought a lot of figurines and I still haven't painted half of them so I ended up selling almost everything on eBay. Played many games though, go Space Marines! :)

yup ...3 months of nothing even remotely good and then wham!!! Tons of games to play from september on. ID has the right idea...release Doom3 when there's no competition in sight

Based on what I've seen in the videos so far, I'm hightly doubtful of STALKER making their planned September release date.

If I were THQ, there is no way in hell I'd release a game like STALKER during September only to have it crushed by HL2. I'd wait closer to Christmas.

I'll get HL2, DoW and Rome: Total War (cheap, cause my bro works at Creative Assembly :))

Well forunately the two games on your list i really really want are both in seperate categories to Hl2 and each other really....:D \o/

Rome: Total War, the empire building game
Warhammer 40,000, the real time strategy game
Hl2, the first person shooter

So all in all I'm pretty happy.

I'm really interested in Battlefront, but I too am going to wait for reviews. It's such a kickass premise though, I feel like the guy at the end of the G4 Doom3 footage, "PLEASE don't let that game suck".

Pacific Assault will probably be pretty cool, but the last thing I will be looking for in such a crowded month is yet another World War game. Same with CoD expansion and BiA.

Rome looks awesome, but I'll wait on it.

I've never had much interest in Fable, even before they started cutting out all of the features that was supposed to make the game so great in the first place.

Stalker won't make it out in September, no way no how. Hell we'll be lucky to get HL2 in September.

I'm unsure about CoD: United Offensive. Isn't it being made by a different developer? I'm going to wait for the reviews on that one...and most of the others too :P

ya I doubt Stalker will be released in september

I'm not sold on Rome TW ...havent played a RTS since warcraft2

Pacific assualt promises to be more than just another ww2 game ...it has awesome graphics, awesome physics, and an awesome multiplayer (medal of honor meets rtcw Enemy Territory - classes! and objectives)

not too excited about the other ww2 games, seems like more of the same ...I think MoH will really take people by surprise ...watch the movies...some of the physics look just as good as HL2

Yeah Pacific Assault does look good, but like I said, it's a crowded month. Actually it's a crowded latter half of the year, there's 10 or so games that are on my "definate purchases" list as it is.

ya it begs the question ...why would they all be relased in the same time frame ...they gotta know that some of the biggest most anticipated games will be released this fall ...why not release it July when there's virtually no competition ...some good titles will probably be overlooked

Maybe because they're not finished yet? :P

ya but they all finish at the same time? the guys in marketing need a good ass whipping

Medal of Honor Pacific Assualt
Rome: Total War
ShellShock: Nam '67
Brothers in Arms

Those are the ones I'm interested in. I doubt I'll buy all of them, and certainly not in September, but I will at least get Brothers in Arms.

Half-Life 2 will definitely be enough for September... all of those are yuck.

I'm definitely getting UO. My dad has HL2 preordered from likewhen COD first came out. MOH blows, IMO. absolutly NO realism.
