Serious Browser Hijack Problems.. Plz Help

Hey guys, for a while now every time i access IE im directed to an "about:blank" page first thing. Not too annoying at first but it starts to get old quick. I really noticed how bad it was when I couldnt get get into my email and other various sites without being redirected to the same page. Ive ran multiple programs.. SBS&D,Adaware,etc. It takes them off until i go into IE again and I start to relive the hell all over. Id like to get rid of this without completely recovering so any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for starting a new thread but i was hoping i would get a quicker response. start up in safe mode (press F8 when computer is turning on) and then run spybot and adaware. That should stop some of the browser hijacks.

Once the problem is solved, you can either go back to using the faulty, buggy, horrible IE. Or check out firefox.

also, Spybot has a handy feature where you can immunize your pc from contracting such spyware, this is located in the "Immunize" tab in spybot. Make sure you've updated the program first though, just to make sure you have complete protection.

Thanks for the help guys. I recently ran CWS Shredder and that seems to have taken care of it. Ive been browsing for a while now with no signs of it. As for your suggestion with Firefox ill check out. Thx again guys

Yea dump that P.O.S IE and get yourself Firefox, i've been using it for a few months now, never going back.
