are u feeling pain? or is it just weird?
if its pain.. its time to visit the doc.
if it just feels weird...well that is attributed to that 9-10 month lay off :)

anyway...maybe its a good idea to talk to a trainer...especially if u are coming off a serious injury.

You're right! He should definately take advice from some guy over the internet, who can't use proper grammer! Screw those quack "certified" doctors, man, they don't know what they're talking about.

sorry i forgot it was an english test

and doctors do know what theyre talking about when theyre within their field

for starters

and tbh im willing to bet i know a lot more about how the body works than you

you need to start working out in other ways first, some way to strengthen the general bone strength...

then you can start lifting those hand weights, those where you have one in each hand... start with a low weight, then each week you put on more... or something like that...

you shouldn't rush into hard training so soon after the healing, that would be like starting to furiously scratch a wound with a sharp-ish object straight after having the previous wound stitched...

and also, when did you remove the cast? that might make a difference...

well...the reason why i told him to go to his doc was simple.
if his doc can't take care of the problem (which is likely), the next thing the doc would do is recommend the appropriate specialist...perhaps even one he may know... but it all starts with visiting the doc :p

get mah drift? good!

Um, okay. I guess you must know me well in order to think you know more than me. That's a tad freaky. :P

judging from the fact youd rate a doctor over a physio in this situation tells me more than i need to know. i dont have to know u well to see you know virtually nothing about this

freeman the reason i would advise against going toa doctor is they can give unspecific advise which could actually make it worse

prince of chine if ur just gonna post for the sake of it dont post at all :P

hish, i broke my left arm about 4 years ago snapped just above my wrist clean across my radius and ulna, very ****ing painful, didnt break the skin but man it was a bad break.
was in a cast for about 8 weeks which i guess is above the average
anyway when i was out of the cast i was doing exercises with my arm from day one

simple things like holding a bean bag and squeezing it slowly moving up to harder things, tennis balls, squash balls etc
just builing up a general level of strength back in my arm.
also ull wanna work things like stretches because uve not been using ur arm for a long time man the muscles basically has died. things like take ur arm across ur chest, behind ur back, take the back of ur wrist on ur hip and pull ur elbow infront

basic stuff like this a doctor will not tell you, they will say if its hurting ret it.
if it hurts a lot take painkillers

go to a physio
