server problems

i just bought bf2 today and it runs nice expect i barely find a good server. but hers my problem

on some servers ill get kicked and it will show this as the message

this server requires (a1361 cl.219.7) and then something liike error loading pbag or somethign.


what is punk buster too?

is there anything i can do to make my lagg go down without scrafising my graphics?

lagg has nothing to do with the settings, its all on your speed of your connection. If you want less lagg you need a better connection or dont dload music while playing

Punkbuster might have trouble updating. Try <this>.

If you run it on single player and still get poor performance, you'll have to tone down the settings. If its only in multiplayer, then you need either a better server or connection.
