Service Pack 2

My laptop downloaded this while I was out and I'm kinda hesitant about installing it after all the negative attention it's gotten.
What are the known issues with it and would they affect the following system;
Inspiron 9100
XP Home
MR9700 128 meg with 4.9cats

Any help or personal experiences with the update would be appreciated.

I hated Service Pack 2, it sucked so bad. I really wouldn't get it. It's a bit sad when Microsoft even had said they made a 'critical error' after they released it...

SP2 sucks? Oh man you're seriously going to hate Longhorn thats for sure.

i had no problems with SP2 on 2 of the computers i use. both xp pro. the new firewall is very nice.

Beware if you have a Chaintech Zenith 9JCS Mobo...apparently my bios is incompatible with SP2, so upon installing my comp wont boot =\.

SP2 is known for reversing your usb 2.0 drivers, happened to me. That's the onyl problem I've had with it, it just meant I had to update them again.
