Settings being reset to default

Everytime I exit HL2DM my settings get reset to the defaults. Is there a way I can manualy set everything in the launch option?

Are you running the game with a -dxlevel command in startup? If so, start the game with that command, tweak your settings the way you want them, and close out. Remove the command from the startup and you should start the game with the same dx version and settings.
