Gamespot got 5 new videos on the game (3 ingame, the intro and a developer interview), plus a new preview.

Looks mighty good, except the HUD. What made ICO unique for me was the lack of HUD.

Am I the only one that thinks the link styles are a bit stupid here? When you've got to search for the link in a post, it's a bad thing.

The game looks very interesting, never played Ico, but I heard it's one of the few games that can be classified as true art.

the scale of the game looks great, huge environments if probably linear, not too many characters or enemies about which i heard is what ico is like, you sorta just wander around.

"However, in order to unlock this power, you must obtain the essence of 16 colossi, mountainous gargantuan beasts that roam the land."

sounds good to me that.

ign preview.

"You see, there are absolutely no other enemies in the game other than the 16 Colossi that you're charged with hunting down -- and the only weapons you'll have at your disposal to defeat them is your horse (named Agro), your sword, and your bow and arrow. And while this kind of basic approach sounds pretty straightforward, Sony promises that ultimate victory is a lot easier said than done."

"The real trick to beating the game is actually finding the giants to vanquish in the first place. Spread out over three-dozen different environments that are hundreds of square feet across each (600x600), the stages are actually enormous landscape puzzles. Players will have to trek through forests, rivers, hills, mountains, plateaus, and charred wastelands in order to find the illusive prayer shrines. Once found, these shrines can then be used to summon a colossus for an epic battle to the death."

european release first too. :E

It isn't the link style, it is that some people feel the need to hide the link.

The animations look great when the guy jumps on the collossi's leg and climbs up.

That was pretty cool. But what is this game? Sequel to something? What's ICO? Can someone give me a story/rundown of the situation.

It;s a stand-alone game by the guys who made Ico
Ico was about a young boy trying to rescue a princess and escape a castle, it is also one of the most beautiful games ever, and definitely worth a rental, since it's pretty short, but still, the gameplay was amazing, the story was well done, and the whole thing just worked brilliantly

the most coolest things are the size of the giants

they look huge
