Well people, I've been on these forums only a little while, and learnt a lot, especially in this forum - half life 2's gunna be great n'all but having debates/ discussions in here has been cool as fcuk.

However with the elections just over, and recent debates on certain other matters, lots of people, myself included, are annoying other people, flaming etc.

So I thought I'd start this little thread.

I want you to post a cool/loving/nice thing you've recently done. Share the love!

My example happened 5mins ago when I went for a slash, I was bursting. Undid my zip, about to wee when I saw a little tiny fly on the surface of the water. One of those tiny little buggers that always come in your room at night when the lights on. I figured I could just piss on him and flush him away to oblivion but thought; he's just trying to get by, just cuz I can wee on him duzn't mean I should. So I got a bit of bog roll and scooped him out, had my whizz, went back to my room and left him on the window ledge to dry off, turned out my light so he wouldn't come back in, and just checked and he's gone. Little fly lives on!

Nothing special but... well.. to mr fly it saved his little life.

Aww, I love sparing the lives of little flies too. :)
 
Find myself regularly scooping Spiders out of the bath tub. Does that count?
 
Big insect (and arachnid) theme here.
I think a life, eight legged or not, is pretty loving :)

I was an art teacher for mentally handicapped teens/adults for 7 years ...I have enough good karma to cruise for a couple of more years :)

No thought at all, spontaneous action. I simply told my tale.

I believe HBO have bought the rights to turn it into a 10 part series staring Jeff Goldblum and Brad Pitt, featuring an appearence of Trey Parker as the toilet, and Alfred Hitchcock as the window. (spot the tributes)
 
burner69, I love your avatar dude. Its so freaking cute for some reason.

EDIT: Oh, and to add to the thread. I often have geckos crawling on the outside of my house near the front door. One day, I found a baby gecko crawling inside my house on the linoleum. Such a cute little bugger. I bent down, reached for him, he squirmed away. He moved sooo slowly and because of that it made him so much cuter. So I scooped him up in a cupped hand and let him climb back on the wall outside my house. =)

I always save spiders/flys from bathtubs :D

and a friend of mine had stretched the ligaments in his foot, and he was on crutches.. we went on an art trip on tuesday, and he couldn't carry his stuff. I was the only person who helped him out and walked by him as he hobbled ever so slowly along ;(

She'll simply pick her nose, and make you laugh for days!

Lastly are pure warriors! Nothing gained but war!
Blood and sinew fill their minds! Can't get enough! Need more!
They love men for their softness! Of skin and brain! And marrow!

Now which girl is my favorite? How can I make a choice?

I save spiders all the time, but I've been swatting alot of mozzies lately. I hate summer =/
 
Oh....I saved a little mouse from my twin brother (not identical) from running it over with the lawn mower.

I pointed to it running in the grass yelling to my brother to watch out and he saw it.Well being him....he tried to run it over and kill it, but I ran to it real quickly and picked it up.
 
I save spiders too, and then I feel guilty that I put him in the cold again :eek:

Hey, nothing like sharing the warmth of your own bed! Chances are you have already swallowed your alottment of spiders in your lifetime during sleep =)

I never had any ill-feelings towards you. If you thought I was raging angry at you or somethin', I apologize.

I used to smoke a lot of weed and a lot of my friends did / do. I've developed a searing hatred for drugs and absolutely loathe them with a passion. If you sensed anger in the debate earlier, it wasn't exatcly targeted at you.

You're actually quite civil and courteous and a good contributor to discussions. I'd hate to see us tarnish our perceptions of each other over a drug debate. Sort of like two crack-head hobos fighting.
