To everyone else who hasnt seen this awsome film you should. the whole of America MUST see this film when the film finally gets a theatrical release in the USA later this month...

:bounce:  :rolling: :afro: :monkee: :naughty:

The DVD commentaries on this are great. I'm just listening to the one with all the cast guzzling wine, bitching that they had to turn off the aircon b'cos of recording, and generally being silly.

Good stuff.

Best Zombie. Film. EVER.

Or Romantic Comedy. or Rob-Zom-Com. Or whatever the hell it is. It's just brilliant, end of story.

No film has ever made me laugh so much, I love it :E

"I knaw sam poyple sae its wrong lyke, buh ee's moi asband inni"

****ing hysterical.

Heh the same moment I looked at this thread, a commercial for the DVD came on TV.

Coincidence? I think not...It means you have to go out and kill someone

...Oh, and buy Shaun of the Dead.

I love british humor but some of it goes right over my head

i love zombie films, and im looking forward to seeing this one. i checked the website, and it mentioned the dvd release. is it going to see a full theatrical release in the states?

British comdeys > Everything else.

Love this film.

I can't wait to see this "rom-zom-com" on the 24th. As you can probably tell from my signature, I am a zombie fanatic...and TOMORROW is the day, baby!

the original Dawn of the dead is great, the remake was funny at the start but that was it... it was just an action film. Although still well done, nothing on the classic.

I havent seen Shawn of the Dead yet, but everyone i know who'se seen it, said it's hilarious. so Im definatly going to buy it :)

I thought it had just recently come out over there...Maybe I was wrong

Sept 24th for the nationwide US theatrical release.

As this film is bieng marketed as a comedy in the US i think some of you might be suprised at the gore levels of this film as you see many a scene that pay a direct homage to the original dead trilogy. For example theres both a scene that apes the gruesome rifle head shot from dawn of the dead and another scene that imitates the 'guts torn from victim and eaten whilst victim is still alive' scene from day of the dead. The effects in this film are simply brilliant and in my opinion superior to the dawn of the dead remake!

....oh and i forgot to add its piss funny also!!

cool, makes me want to see it even more. i thought the dawn of the dead remake was cool, but the original was better. i just love zombie movies.

I thought it was a limited release in the States?! no?
Anyway, this movie rocks, except the ending, when they're in the pub. The tone of the film changes all of a sudden.--->BAD. REAL BAD. But I won't let that ruin this film.

The tone changes, yeah. But that doesn't stop it rocking. It just rocks in a different way.

Heh, that bit was class :D

Did anyone else think for a moment it was them that got run over by the truck towards the end? I mean it turned out to be two zombies, but for a second...I thought the film makers were being cruel :)

Everyone loves zombies. I do. Which makes me wonder why everyone hasn't flocked to www.nomoreroominhell.com yet? HL2 Zombie Co-op! Come on! -.- Anyhow, I'm all for shaun of the dead...Wanna see it so bad..

Thats probably because most of our humour makes fun of...well...us Brits really :)

Heh, Spaced was so cool :D

Excellent film, definitely one of the British greats. Was really good to see many familiar faces of British comedy too (even if a lot were only for a brief few seconds - the second team that meet up with Shaun's in the alleyway).

WHOA, the advert came on as i was reading this thread i think i better get this.

Matt Lucas just looked too funny in that scene with that little wig!

Damn right.

Shaun of the Dead just feels like a long episode of Spaced with Zombies thrown in :)

Spaced is the best thing to happen to British comedy in years. Both series are absolutely fantastic :)

just saw this one...it was hilarious!! **** out of *****
