Well, I wanted some help with shells. I dont really understand what they are, besides being an alternative to explorer.exe. It seems like they're nothing more than a different interface...

Someone fill me in on shells? I'm thinkin I might wanna dl one..but...ya...what are they?

The only thing like that I've ever had was Windowsblinds... but that caused so many issues with programs it wasn't near worth having...

It's just a replacement for the default shell. It allows you to change the appearance dramatically.

Windowblinds isn't an shell its a plugin for the shell part of explorer

www.geoshell.com is the alternative shell that I use. If you're going to use it use the latest beta.
