I'm not sure if this should be here or off topic chat.
Anywho, my brother just informed me he wants to buy a $3600 USD Alienware system. He is making good money and is getting a $5000 profit sharing check, but damn.
I took him to newegg.com and showed how much he could save if he built it. But I told him that he could afford it and it would be reliable, his decision.
But christ! Here my poor ass sits contemplating on how to ooze my measly little savings for a new bare minimum pc. I guess 'jeolousy' is the key word here. I mean he is throwing out money on crap he doesn't need, i.e. two 120gb harddrives. I asked him, "What the hell are you going to do with 240gb? You won't even use a 10th of that!"
