cool, i wish mine would start already, whats with the purple?
 
details... details... (since allot of us are unable to play for some reason). Like... do you start out with the Grav Gun? Balancing? Um... yeah, that's it :p Oh and how many player models?
 
just curious, when you kill a combine in deathmatch, do they make "beeep" sound?
 
You start with grav and crowbar. They make the beep. The grav gun seems to have a stronger push then in single, it's more deadly.
 
hehe, kill icons are cool.

it always make me smirk when one player gets 10 head shots in a row (in a non cheat cs:s game)... someone's been knifing :D

ITS AWESOME!!!
It is simply amazing, even with the lag, the best gun is probably the poverwatch rifle, with the incinerator its unbeatable
Here are some awesome stories

Shooting a ball of energy at a guy, only to get it deflected off his barrel that he was holding with the GGun. The ball bounces wildly around him and kills him in the back, someone preparing to throw a flammable barrel at you, only to have you blow it up in their hands...ill list more awesome things soon


The first map, lockup, is nova prospekt, the part with the ant lion guard
Second (didnt play much) is in C17, i played it rebels v combine and it was AWESOME

There is no crowbar, SHUT UP WHINERS!
A crowbar would just clutter up your inv
 
Ok, some more details

Right now, most of the servers are laggy, i got lucky and i joined a very very good server with about 14 peeps, it was under 200 most of the time

All the weapon sounds are the same
there are some very humorous sprays "D.O.G xing, headhumper, freeman (witha pic of gordon)

Many models, Male and female models for rebals, about 23 in all, 4-5 combine models, police, prison guards, blue eyes, elites

As i said, only 2 maps, i think Valve released DM and they want the modders to do the rest (hence the compitition)

Im going to go play now
 
Loading times are very fast, the start up screen (which is the concept art released today)
As well as getting into servers

There are some cool interactive things like the holes where the antlions come out of are destructable and you can hide in them if you break the top
And this, using the GGun to plug it back in starts a fan, you cant use the vent from there, but i think it can be used for something (like if you see someone in the fan area)

This is very cool, its just like the citadel, it recharges your HP and Hev at the same time, very fast, and suit to 200

This is my favourite, im amazed i go the shot, as you can see, that guy took a file cabnit and right as he started to hurl it at me, i shot it with the revolver (i still get pwned :p)

The game comletely owns. All of the guns are in there and feel great. The rocket launcher is so much fun to chase people with the laser-guiding. The magnum is a one-shot-kill gun... they might need to tone it down just a bit. Generally anybody with the magnum and decent aim becomes a wrecking machine.

But most amazingly of all.... stuff is flying all over the place, and the game runs just as well as cs source does for me. (I managed to find a very stable server).

here's a list of some thing's I've done already.

1. picked up a grenade and threw it back at the guy, killing him.
2. shot a barrel at the same time another guy shot a filing cabinet at me... the two collided in mid-air.
3. killed very many people with toilets and sinks
4. flown 20+ ft after being killed with exploding barrel.
5. threw a radiator at a guy just to have him catch it with his gravity gun (really caught me by surprise)
6. Killed a guy by chasing him with a car that I was flinging around with the grav gun
7. Used many objects as shields effectively.
8. Best one! Threw a grenade up onto the roof of the building where I knew the rocket launcher was and was very happy to see that the idea did work, and the rocket launcher flew off the roof and fell on the ground not far from my feet. Ownage.

I could go on and on... so many possibilities for so many cool things... the chain reactions of the exploding barrels alone leaves an infinite amount of possibilities.

The levels are good-sized and have a variety of open areas and small corridors. One level is taken from Nova Prospekt (hint, the rocket launcher is in the same place as the fan you had to clog in the sp). the other is taken out of, I think anti-citizen one and is centered around a building that has been blown in half. The rocket launcher is on the roof near a lookout nest that has armor and ammo, but everyone on the map practically can see you up there.
 
when you alt tab while youre loading a game you get some purp or black texts


I think my new favorite thing is having someone pick up a table, threatening to shoot, and you shoot it out of their hands with your GGun, pick it back up, and kill them
 
Only 2, DAMN THAT WAS AWESOME
Just now in overwatch, i ran out of ammo while unloading on a guy with an MP7, while throwing a grenade he went in front of me with his back to a white car
He threw the nade, i switched to my GGun, picked it up, bounched it off the car and it exploded in his ass
