I am thinking about getting Prince of Persia or Painkiller.
Which one?
And for Prince of Persia, I was amazed by the demo and I was wondering are there any more moves besides the vault-over-the-enemy tactic?

Oh, and are there more games for the PC that are like Prince of Persia with kick-ass sword fighting?

Yeah, theres more to the combat than that. To be honest I really only got all the way into understanding all the combat moves until my third time through. That said its an awesome game, but I can't vouch for its playability on the computer.
I'd definitly choose it over Painkiller myself.

Hm, never had any problem with the difficulty. You playing on the computer?

In the PoP demo, there was only 32-bit colour, can I change it to 16-bit? If not, well can I change it in the full version?

i would get PoP but it doesn't have alot of replay value. I'm afraid, I think it would be more fun with a controller because mouse and keyboard doesn't seem right. But other than that

meh im not really interested in either but if i had to choose id get painkiller. i just love the steak gun, pinning people to walls....:D

i have the xbox version of prince of persia, it was fun for about a week, then i just stopped playing it, theres a load of new games that you can get that are better then PoP, i played both painkiller demos and i found it very fun, it had good graphics, cool monsters and guns, and awesome physics, you sure cant see monsters getting blown apart and haveing there limbs fly in the air. So i say go with painkiller. But, if you get PoP, get it for xbox if you have xbox, that game is meant to be played on a controller in my opinion.

Anybody who plans to buy this game (PainKiller): HOLD ON, DON'T DO IT YET! Wait and see!

It seems Painkiller is going to be the biggest game copy protectionb scandal in the history: the Painkiller game IS NOT working AT ALL with a DOZEN drive, including the widely used (HP, Compaq, Dell) OEM LG drives!

The current list, compiled by T2K- PAINKILLER DOESN'T WORK WITH THE FOLLOWING DRIVES:

# Pan International CyberDrive 240
# ASUS CD-S400
# M a t s h i t a CR-581-B
# Philips CDD2000
# LG GDR-8161B - this is in the majority drive in xwX000-family HP WS, also known as
# HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8161B
# Toshiba HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR-8081N (2002 sept laptop drive)
# LG HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GMA-4020B Apr 2003 IDE (internal drive) - probably none of these LGs are working
# HL-ST-DVDRAM GSA-4081 - I bought it weeks ago, this is that 8x DVD+/-R/RW/RAM drive!
# YAMAHA CRW-F1E - the tattoo drive

and still counting!

Dreamcatcher, the publisher of Painkiller title DID NOTHING BEFORE ITS RELEASE, although they KNEW THIS PROBLEM VERY WELL, as they made a small topic on their web forum on April 5th, 48 hours before the game arrived to the stores.

It's safe to say it was a malicious move to hide the truth as long as they can, avoid hurting their sales - even they knew already they're shipping a defective game.

Yeah, this really pissed me off :(. I had to switch my DVD drive for my old CD-Rom drive, and now I can't play UT2k4 without switching. It's a pain in the ass, but Painkiller is definitely worth all of the trouble. Best game this year side of Far Cry. Get it! :E

if my DVD drive wont work, i wont get it. i may if it works on my system though.

Painkiller... I never really saw what was so great about PoP. "Look at me, and my super speedy-blur!!!1" -_- *yawn*

I've been playing Painkiller and i like it alot. It reminds me of the good old days of playing quake II but with better graphics and better gameplay. It also uses the Havok system.

As for PoP, i love this game as well. it was fun and you have to think a lot. But like someone said before, there is no replay value.

Dunno, I've replayed it four times. :D
Its still engaging and tough, especially if you have a poor memory for puzzles.

painkiller has to work on its image, seriously!

at 1st it's all dark and has scary music, then it starts playing rock music w/ SnK freaks toting guns! WTF!?!?

buy PoP, buy far cry, DL painkiller, nuf said

Can you save anytime you want in Prince of Persia for the PC?

Just wondering before I get it.

Nope. There's save points throughout the game that are pillars of sand sorta.. you'll see.
