I was wondering if I should wait to purchase a computer, and see what ATI has in store for their R520 series? I was planning on purchasing an AMD Athlon 64 4000+, Nvidia GeForce 7800GTX, DFI LanParty nF4 SLI-DR, 1GB OCZ Plat. Rev. 2 memory, but I hear ATI has more features in store. The only thing that I am scared of is that they won't have the no jaggies feature (whatever the technical term is, I forget) that the 7800GTX has. Anyone have some suggestions?

no jaggies? You mean anti-aliasing? Most modern cards (6800gt/x800xt) can do 4x/8x anti-aliasing on pretty much every released game to date. I would stick with the 7800gt, but I'm not sure what ATi's latest card can do.

Transparency multisampling and transparency supersampling modes, is what I mean. ATI doesn't have them.

Well, I'd definitely wait, but hell if you have the money(quite the setup your looking at), go for it.

The longer the wait..the better the GFX cards will become. But if you wanna wait for the ULTIMATE GFX CARD??!...no such thing. Every 8 months or so, a new card comes out and it's better than the last one. So I would research the card you want, and buy it. No use waiting cause...well...there really is no point.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
