I work as a toll collector on a state highway so im constantly looking for movies to keep me occupied for 8 hrs. i recently got the blockbuster movie pass, to anyone who collects it saved me a bunch of money if your interested. Ive heard that also the netflix is good too.

For example ive rented / burned 20 movies last week. ( 2 a day ) and saved $$$

Slightly off topic... but has anyone bought the new I Robot DVD?

Its a really pain as they've loaded the pre menu and a new Anti-Downloading trailer -

"Would You Steal A Car?" "DOWNLOADING MOVIES IS STEALING"

Plus about 15 minutes worth of fox trailers. I know you can press menu and skip it but still bit blooldly cheeky in my books.

What you guys think?

It's acceptable when you're renting a movie, because then it's always tempting to slap it into your PC's drive a whip off a copy of the VOB files, but when you've actually gone to the trouble of buying your own copy it's cheeky as ****... ever cheekier when they put a remote lock on so you have to watch it and can't skip through it.

With I-Robot though I'm not suprised. Good movie, but 15 mins of trailers before the movie begins and 15 minutes of trailers advertising half a dozen products in the first fifteen minutes of the movie is a bit much *strokes his converse all-stars as he prepares to fed-ex a parcel to someone*
 
Fox has always been a pain. ITs like the X Files boxsets where they lock the "This DVD Is For Home Use Only etc" screen but show it in 50 languages so your there sitting for a couple of mins before the bloodly menu will even turn up.

They do bring out some good releases though. Hopefully by 2010 I'll have the entire series on DVD.... :/
 
lol that's not old, most of my movies are from the 40's and 70's (2 very good decades for flim making)

Yep, hated it :( soon we'll have to start modding our dvd players to bypass the comercials :p

Ah, immediately saw the 2 Kill Bills :D and X-Box games don't count ;)
 
hmm i heard in the future well be able to fit tonnes of movies on 1 dvd. :)
