If you dont mind huge spoilers, you can check out a review of the supposedly leaked screenplay here

Now, im a huge Shyamalan fan and can't wait for his next movie. I read the screenplay review and I half hope it isn't genuine, but even if it doesnt seem very impressive on paper I think Shyamalan will still make a great movie from it. What do you guys think of his next project? Any Shyamalan fans out there?

Well I enjoyed Signs personally. However I didn't think that Mel Gibson was a particularly apt choice for the lead as he just didn't convince as a priest. I'd of gone with someone like Sam Neill instead.

I'm sure his next film will be interesting. I guess he will be hard pushed to make his usual cameo though given the time and place :P

I've really liked his movies so far... Signs is one of my favorite movies I think. It sounds like this one will be another good one!

The Sixth Sense was an awesome movie..

Unbreakable was horrible

Signs was pretty good

I'd definitely go see another one of his movies, though

I liked The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, but I thought the end of Signs was lame. Plus the obvious critique of "Why would a race of water fearing aliens invade a planet whose surface is over 70% water. More to the point, why would they do it naked?"

I'll have to check out this screenplay, but I'm not sure I like the prospect. I'm not really into mythical creatures or the 19th century.

What's even worse is, they pretty much knocked an alien out with a baseball bat. So, explain to me why they couldn't just kill them with say, guns or knives?

Because Lisa Simpson wished for peace on earth with the monkey's paw and all the weapons in the world disappeared. Earth was ripe for the taking. Hoo Hoo Haa Haa Haa!

And Ashton Kutcher is a lame actor, he should stick to being an asshole to all his Hollywood buddies.

first off they explained why the aliens didnt take anything with the, they feared the humans would use it against them. second off im sure that they took the water into reasonable consideration, BTW the movie was suppose to show how "GOD" never leaves you, and every thing will work out in the end.

oh my gosh, yay!!! i'm totally a shyamalan fan ever since my 8th grade days of obsession with The Sixth Sense (it got really bad -- i went to the website and downloaded the screensaver.... i read through half the script.... i watched it about 4 times within a week..... gosh that's embarassing).
I thought Unbreakable was ok--it was kind of weird that he got Bruce Willis again.... but the music playing during the train station scene is awesome :).
Signs was pretty good; I probably laughed more--it was almost more funny than scary, which wasn't a bad thing. and i was wondering about why the aliens went to a water planet too... especially since there's also water in the atmosphere so couldn't some of it have been condensing on their skin too...? oh well...
anyways.... thanks for posting this info--made my day a bit happier

.... oh whoa--this one's set in Pennsylvania too, just like the other movies? sheesh

Also, how could the aliens invade and land on our planet surface, there is lots of water in the air alone. Stupid plot.
