sidebar forum selection...please bring it back!

Please bring back the section on the right sidebar on the home page that had quick links to the popular forums. It seems to have been taken over by advertising. (BOOOO) I miss the bar dearly... :|

naa i like the fullscreen forum, can't block sidebar forum selections like we can ads

In theory can't it be done with a selectable skin mode?
