Has anyone tried "sign on using an existing account" after a format? I did this and can't start a game at all, just sticks to the "establishing network connection.." screen (left it for half an hour). Can't even cancel out of it, just freezes the computer completely for a reboot.
Any fixes for that floating about?
If it helps, my computer was running Steam before the format. Also I had set all these parameters inside the launch options for valve:
-console -noipx -32bpp -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd
Then I changed it to this (to be sure it wasnt conflicting):
-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd
Still, problem persists.
