Why... oh why.. do people have signatures that extend more than five lines. I'm so fed up when people post and their signature fills half the screen with a resolution of 1280x1024. It's insane.

If I type "aye" as a reply to a thread and my signature is 3 lines long then yes, it's bigger but within reason. If someone types "aye" as a reply to a thread and their signature is about 12 lines it looks so... retarded.

And then you get forums where all hell has broke free.. like graphics so big they defy the laws of physics.. or 400+ smileys. WHY GOD WHY.

Anyone else get bothered by this?
 
Yes me, I agree with you. Some users just cram every "funny" quote they hear or read in their signatures, it's ridiculous, just choose one ffs! Like that guy who quoted his sister... jeez what a dork lol :)
 
hah i just noticed your avatar has that dancing banana - that Tredslop had as his avatar - on the back of that cross between a llama and a sloth, whatever it is :S

Edit: on tpic, yeh long signatures are very annoying, if i was a mod i would ask some to scale them down abit, especially the ones with large fonts in. If i had a signature i would make it a smaller than default font size
 
I forgot to mention what annoys me the most... geeks with their cpu specs in their sigs. Saddest idiots of them all.

Mine aint too long, not as long as those guys postin their cpu specs, i hate that as well.

tbh I don't mind that, it's the really long one's that grate my goat.

I saw two on these forums but forgot from what thread, both were gigantic.. about 3x the size of yours.

Everyone who's posted in here doesn't have an unsightly sig. If I can I'll find the thread where I saw two horrificly huge ones which caused me to post this thead.
 
If anyone finds my sig too long, it wont be a prob to change it. Just tell me.
 
It is rather lengthy, but I have no problem with it, I'm not to lazy to scroll down a tad bit mroe
 
My signature is necessary. Well the first line of it is, and I'm going to delete the second line tomorrow.

Dude, your pissing me off. All i asked was if you found my sig too long, and i would make it shorter.

Sheesh... Some people can just be so sensitive on subjects that they bring up and don't like the answer to.
 
One thing that annoys me so much is when people sign off after posting e.g.

Whats the point? You've got signature space to do that if you want, and we all know who posted it cos your name is displayed next to your post!
