Konami has the official SH4 website up here. Hmm, Silent Hill 4: The Room, that's a pretty awful subtitle. And the game doesn't seem Silent Hillish at all. Ah well, I'm not sure if there are any fans here, but I posted it anyway.

I'm a huge fan of the series and I currently own all three. Can't wait for the next one .

well I never played Silent hill games. are they scarier than resident evil, thing, system shock 2 ?

Its a scarey game. Every game you get a radio and it makes a noise when a monster is near and if you turn it off the games even freakier.

Edit: I see its going to be on both Xbox and PS2. I'll prob get the Xbox version because it'll look even better.

It's going to be good.

Beast : I would say that the series is alot scarier than the Resident Evil games, but no where near as scary as System Shock 2 (which IMO holds the crown for scariest game ever, even when you play it with a mate, it still freaks you out.. Not many games can do that).

I do think that 3 sequels on one console is pushing it. Assuming the PS3 or other next-gen console comes out mid 2005 (heres hoping), I hope Silent Hill 5 will end up being a launch title.

When I played KoTOR and you first learn there is a stow away aboard the Ebon Hawk, I was all, "Holy shit what will it be?!" I was looking over my shoulder the whole time and my heart started racing. When I found out it was a kid I was like, "MEH!"

I loved all of the first 3 SH games. This one looks fuggin' awesome, too. I have a SH3 poster on my door right now, actually .

They have monsters that fly through the walls now. It supose to make the player feel as if he is constantly being watched and followed. They wanna give the player the most paranoid feeling ever.
