Silent Hill 4: The Room has been shipped to retail stores nationwide.
And for me to explain Silent Hill 2 to you would be long and complicated and I forget most of it (since I haven't played it for about 1.5 years). And there are multiple endings to the story.

I still haven't played Silent Hill 3 yet.
Silent Hill 2 is probably one of the best games released on the PS2, and likewise with Silent Hill and the PSX. So I'm suprised I haven't force myself to bloody get it. And now the fourth one is out.

its not supposed to suck, its just not supposed to be as good as the others...but knowing people saying that, even know its the 'sucky' one of the series, it will still be an EXCELLENT game on the whole

I saw that today at Game Stop. I was buying a used game and I looked over and they have a stack of Silent Hill 4 strategy guides. I asked the dude if the game was already out and he was like yea. Guess I'm too used to all the game I want getting delayed. I'm might buy this one soon.

The visual style makes it like you're playing someone's nightmare (which I think was what they were aiming for). Just make sure you play them in the right setting i.e. in the dark, on your own.
One of the best adventure game series available in my opinion.

Keep in mind though..People who have played the other silent hill games will get a surpise..as silent hill 4 is very different from them.

Silent Hill is the reason DOOM3 didnt scare me at all. Silent Hill makes me crap my pants to no ends. It'll desensatize you to fear in no time if you manage to overcome the games. I've never watched a movie, played a game, or experienced anything as scary as SH.
Reguardless SH=The win when it comes to quality in a game. I'll get SH4 as soon as its released for PC.

From now on when referring to manlyness and manhood say:
"Silent Hill will put hairs on your chest" Even though it'll cut off a few years from your life.

I think SH2 is also on the PC. I'm not sure SH4 is yet though. Its definitely one of my favorite series to play. I'm going to buy SH4 as soon as I get enough money to do so lol.
