You never know..that could be in the game :E

Did they ever make a first-person version of the games in this series? I loved how scary number two was, but I couldn't play it very well because of the console-style controls.

Silent Hill 4 is partly first person..only in your apartment.

a first person version of the game wouldn't be good at all i think. Ive own emm all , and they are a hundred times scarier than the resident evil series. (four was kinda lame though) Putting it to first person would take the escences away.

PEACE

Mike:cheers:

love all silent hill games but the information on that website has been long proven incorrect because i remember reading an interview with akira yamaoka about silent hill 4 and what they're going onto next and the interviewer asked about 'shadows of the past' and yamaoka basically said its a load of turd and just a rumour

it was actually a really good interview because he admitted a lot went wrong with silent hill 4 and that they were going to return in the next game to what made it originally so good which made me want to die with joy. they said they wanted to try something new though such as have absolute normality, as in being surrounded by people in daylight in a seemingly normal town transform into something horrible in time...and he made a mention of a mood that they wanted to achieve, such as a similar raw style of chainsaw massacre

he also said the alternate 'dark side' that's so familiar with the series that was a bit shit in sh4 will be much more like it was originally, such as completley set different from the normal world instead of weaving in between like silent hill 4 did

can't remember where the interview was now but it was deffinatley a good read
