Well I want to get one of these two games and probably the other later. Both look great, but I can't decide. For one, I've been playing alot of FPS lately but I also won't have much time for play time of 1/1+ hours (which it looks like will be needed for SH3).

sh3 will last longer, cor is very short with no mp,lol u posted this at gamefaqs too didnt u?

I havent played SH or CoR but from what I have played of the first SH games and read of CoR,Id go for Riddick as it seems like a more action packed game, not to say that SH is any better or worse its just I cant personally stand Simutlation Games.

Riddick is very short and there isn't much incentive to go back and play it again.

I haven't played SH3 yet.

I haven't played either. I want to play Riddick.

And concerning replayablility of Riddick: The developer's commentary sounds like an awesome idea. Is it really any good?

I have both games. I'd go for Silent Hunter III. Great game.

I'd also go for SH3 and have both... i cant stand Vin Diesel :p
SH3 is awesome, but since you cant stand Simulation Games... well, there's no hard choice really is there?

Ehhh...so-so. If you're interested in games and curious to see how they made it, then its for you. But if you're not, its kinda pointless. Although if you ever find that you have 20 minutes to spare and have already clocked the game, running through it on Developers Mode might not be a bad idea as its pretty cool and a quick time-waster (if there is such a thing)

SH3 is quickly making it's way up my All-Time list. I never would have bought a sub sim if it wasn't for the other review thread on this board. I would never have thought I would enjoy this game so much. My roomate played Riddick. Not my bag, but to each their own.
