Let me introduce you to a new mod called Silent Warriors, I have just entered the brainstorming stage of this new mod, and I need a talented team who is willing to work on an ambitious new type of mod...
First off, before i tell of positions that I need help in, I'll make sure all of you are familiar with the gameplay in Silent Warriors. Instead of going with a 1st person perspective, I'm thinking of going with a 3rd person perspective (which is one of the new features of this mod). The mod will not stray to far from the gameplay of Counterstrike: Source, but there will be a few new gameplay innovations, I'm planning on making the game play more stealthy and silent, as the name suggests, with more emphasis on silenced weapons and sniper rifles, but, if you prefer, you can go "guns-a-blazing" if that is how you wish to play, but it may be more difficult, and it will also give your position away much more easily. Seeing how this is in the 3rd person perspective, and has an emphasis on stealth, I'm thinking that if possible, we should have "stealth-kills", let me explain, if your sneaking around, and you spot an enemy camping in a sniping position, you can take out your knife, silently sneak up behind him, and slit his throat for a "stealth-kill".
The weapons the mod will include will be around the lines of, sub-machine guns, assault rifles, an RPG, and a sniper rifle or two, but with the sniper rifles, (to keep it fair) this mod will implement a heavy emphasis on trying to steady the weapon before you fire, so, when you look into the scope of the sniper, it will shake a lot, making it almost impossible to fire accuratley, but after you wait a couple seconds, it will eventually steady out, making it much easier to fire, that way, we don't have to worry about people with sniper rifles running around with the scope up, firing at someone and killing them with a headshot, which can be very frustrating.
As you can see, this mod so far is sounding pretty realistic, and that's what I'm going for, but one part of the game that I haven't gone into yet is the enviroment in which you will be playing. I'm planning on having this an only, dense, cluttered, urban enviroment, in which there will be plenty of cover. I want the levels to feel cluttered, and filled with garbage and such, making it harder for snipers, but also more rewarding, and not as much of a burden for the people running through the streets, but there will be the occasional vantage point for the snipers. While were on the subject of the enviroments, I think I should tell you about the objectives for each team, there will be a main objective, which will be similar to Counterstrike in which the terrorist side will plant a bomb to destroy the objective, or to defend the hostages, and of course the ally side will have to defend the bomb site and rescue the hostages... but, then there will also be a secondary objective, where in each teams spawn point, there will be a flag pole with the teams native flag, and if they can reach the other teams flag, and capture it, your team will win!
You have heard the ally, and axis side, but you haven't heard about which nationality the sides will be. The two sides I'm thinking about adding are the Russian "Spetznaz" units, and Middle Eastern Guerilla forces. I don't have the complete story on why the two forces are fighting each other, but I'm sure I will in the coming days.
I'm planning on having tense, realistic action, with the feeling of always checking your back, afraid of getting your throat slit, and I hope the mod will accomplish that. And as you can see, this is a pretty ambitious project, and I'll need a tallented team that will be helpful and willing. I have many positions open, as I have just started this mod, as the person who started this, I am the Project Lead, who will watch over everybody who is working on it, I will also be working on the Concept art for Silent Warriors, I should hope that some of you will be interested in working on this mod of a grand scale! :cheers:

I am hoping this mod to turn out to be excellent, and fun, so please join, and have fun! :cheers: Plus, if you want to work on this mod, you won't have to worry about the enemy AI because it is going to be an online only game, for now...
